I grew up and I live again in a green valley (Remstal) nearby Stuttgart (Germany). As a student I had the chance to go to high school in West Vancouver, BC, Canada. After school, I went to Munich to study business information sytems at the Technical Universtiry of Munich where I graduated with a Master's degree.
Working as a freelancer, project management and entrepreneur for 10 years in various projects in Europe and Canada, a solid basis in technology and management was established. Shaping experiences were projects in the Canadian Arctic and helping to build a striving geodata and reporting business in Vancouer, BC. As a TERP10-certified SAP consultant I was mostly working with SAP Business Warehouse (SAP BW) until my focus shifted towards building and organizing a cloud application platform based on SAP Cloud Platform. To organize my teams, I rely on agile methodology like Scrum and Kanban. Beside my leadership role I am regularly asked to speak at events and to participate in panel discussions.
What motivates me?
Wether as a freelancer, entrepreneur or leader I am motivated by the ability to make a change. Paired with an environment of value, respect and trust along with an interdisciplinary team of different backgrounds a sustainable improvement of the world we live and work in is possible.
Most favorably I spend my time with my family in the mountains hiking and skiing. Closer by I love to play the upright or electric bass or my piano - for the most fun with the band.
